Chrona Sleep Inc.
Chrona Sleep Inc. has developed a non-invasive, mobile, and Bluetooth-enabled sleep-sensing device that applies acoustic neuromodulation to enhance sleep and neuroplasticity in real time.
Millions of people worldwide are suffering from sleep deprivation. In fact, the National Sleep Foundation reported that 87 percent of adults suffer from some sort of sleeping problem.
Chrona Sleep Inc. (Chrona) has developed an innovative mobile sleep technology comprised of a lightweight pillow topper and mobile application that turns any pillow into a smart pillow. With the pillow topper and mobile application working in sync, Chrona’s technology uses an algorithm that senses an individual’s sleeping patterns in real time and applies rhythmic acoustic neurostimulation during sleep through its proprietary Deep Sleep Boost and Gentle Wake-Up technology. This technology not only allows a person to stay in a deep and restful state of sleep, but also allows the individual to feel more rested, alert, and refreshed throughout the next day.
Chrona will be targeting more than 113 million sleep-deprived Americans who experience sleep disorders including insomnia, sleep deprivation, sleep apnea as well as other sleep-deprived related issues. In addition Chrona will be pursuing the PTSD population as Chrona’s technology has clinical implications that could be a disruptive treatment for Veterans suffering with PTSD.
The sleep device market is expected to experience explosive growth with projections of selling upwards of one billion sleep improvement devices in 2020.
Chrona is managed by Telluride Medical Partners LLC.
